We have just received notification from the Ministry of Health that some podiatry services are deemed essential while we are in Covid-19 alert level 4 lock-down.
Patients will only be seen in person if;
They are not a candidate for telehealth
They cannot be deferred until after alert level 4
Their pain cannot be controlled by medication
They have other co-morbidities that may mask pain requiring urgent management
They pass all initial screening questions
We have appropriate measures in place to mitigate the risk of transmission between our staff, customers and the general public. This includes our podiatrist Rebecca being the only staff member available on site.
